How Snag-It stole my heart

I’m in love.  Now, those of you who know me and my dating track record are automatically turning your calendar to three months from now, noting the date and entering a reminder that my relationship will have ended by now and you’ll need to come over with a movie where something blows up every 2 minutes, or a bottle of wine, or both.  Whether or not you’ve endured my quarterly dating cycles, you’ll be happy to know that my heart belongs not to a man, but to an application called Snag-It

Here's a screen shot I captured using Snag-It.

Snag-It enables you to grab images from any place on the web, making it possible to copy, paste and repurpose images from any web page, including pesky Flash presentations and 360 rotating product images.  As someone who is yet to be walking upright when it comes to Web technology, Snag-It is the answer to my prayers.  Now I can get events from images where our bags are featured, capture important product shots for R&D, and juxtapose my head onto Penelope Cruz’ body without fancy Web or design apps.  For a sneak peek, check out this video from CNET.

And, since not all relationships are a good fit, I love the fact that I could get a 30 day free trial before committing.  I don’t tend to fall head over heels, but I’m just 2 weeks into Snag-It and I think it’s the one for me.

  1. Love it Jill — now can they PLEASE just make this Mac compatible??????

  2. I agree – this is a great tool. And I love the woman’s point of view as well! I hear the next version will give back scratches.
